Inside/ Outside Poem - From our Worship on April 8th 2024
Grazes heal, scars outside disappear,
Soreness and bruises fade away
In hours, days or even weeks
New skin grows so that
No one knows where the hurt has been.
Hurt feelings, scars inside unseen,
The hurt remains and even grows
For hours, days, weeks and maybe years.
It hides inside us, locked in a secret place
To which only we have the key.
Prayer
Dear God
Please help us to value people around us,
our friends and family,
the people we meet every day of our lives.
Please help us to realise that we are special,
that we have feelings
and can feel both outside and inside.
Amen

School Policies
St Lawrence Church
We attend church throughout the year for Harvest Festival, Christmas, Easter and Year 6 leaving assembly.
Reverend Jeremy, from St Lawrence church, holds weekly worship in school on a Monday
We have worship areas around our school
Worship council
We have a worship council that meet regularly with Ms Clacy.
Each class also has a worship book linked to their weekly worship theme. The children decide on how to use these in their daily class worship. Members of the Worship Council are responsible for the Worship Books
